911 Fearless Champions Memorial

The 911 Fearless Champions Memorial was created to remember all the first responders and the citizens who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The 911 Fearless Champions Memorial was commissioned by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department and is a part of the 9/11 Remembrance Park in Ybor City, Florida. The life-size figures of Law Enforcement, Fire fighters, EMS and a citizen reflect the heroes and the repeated heroic events that occurred that day at the World Trade Center in New York City. The I-beam and debris are from Tower 2 and were donated by the New York City's Port Authority. The sculptures were designed to incorporate the original I-beam and debris as well as the scenes that occurred repeatedly on that day.
